New Society in Victoria!!

 

We are very proud to announce that on Tuesday 5th February 2019 the new Arts Society in Victoria was inaugurated.

Lecture programme for 2018/2019 is as follows:

Tuesday 2nd April 2019--Bertie Pearce--Now You See It, Now You Don’t – The Art of Visual Deception 

Tuesday 7th May 2019--Peter Medhurst--In the Wake of Handel: The Impact of Handel on 300 Years of British Culture 

Tuesday 11th June 2019--Janusz Karczewski-Slowikowski--On Cupboards and in Drawers 

Tuesday 2nd July 2019--Antony Penrose--The Boy who bit Picasso 

Tuesday 3rd September 2019--Daniel Snowman--Guerra! Guerra! Music, the Arts and War: 1800-2000 

Tuesday 1st October 2019--Philip Venning--Old Buildings, Fakes and Fallacies 

You are very welcome to join us at The Grey Coat Hospital School, Greycoat Place, London SW1P 2DY for a fee of £10 (payable by cash or cheque on the door).  Doors  open at 6.00pm, with the lecture set to start at 6.55pm.  There will be time to mingle, meet our committee and old and new friends until 8.30pm. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
